This is a collage of 6 pictures taken at the farewell breakfast - isn't it amazing what digitial
photography allows even a graphically-challenged individual such as this webmaster to accomplish?!

This was the first day of the heat wave that eventually encompassed the entire country.  Needless to say, the dancers got very hot and tired but did manage to accomplish a half-dozen different dances in a one hour period.  The narrator, who happened to be manager and uncle of many of the dancers, gave a lot of information about the dances between sessions.  He also encouraged the audience to participate in the dances.  (Ben was the first Business Manager of the IPCC when it was built and had its Grand Opening in September 1976.)

The Cooperage - near Louisiana on Lomas in Albuquerque Jean Ciriacks & William Southard
The final night in Albuquerque, I had the chance to take my step-mother, Jean, and her son, Kevin, to dinner at The Cooperage - one of Albuquerque's finest dining spots.  Hadn't seen them since my last trip to Albuquerque in 1994.
